Finding a reputable tree company doesn’t have to be a challenge.

At On The Block Landscape and Tree Service, we focus on helping your trees thrive and ensuring your property stays safe and beautiful. From routine trimming to removing dead or unwanted trees, our skilled team provides top-notch care tailored to your needs.

Fully licensed, insured, and ISA-certified, we bring professionalism and expertise to every job.

Professional Expertise, Personal Touch

As an ISA Certified Arborist and Tree Risk Assessment Qualified (TRAQ) professional, Brian brings both the credentials and the hands-on experience to handle any tree care challenge. But qualifications are just the starting point.

“I take customer service very seriously,” Brian explains. “I strive to do everything in my power to be the best representative of my company and the best steward of our clients’ trees. That means taking time to explain what we’re doing, why we’re doing it, and how it benefits your property long-term.”

Whether it’s specialty pruning, emergency tree removal, or a detailed health assessment, we approach every job with the same level of professionalism and care.

Because at the end of the day, we’re not just maintaining trees, we’re protecting the beauty and value of your home.

Meet The Expert

Brian Downs

Born and raised in Ohio, Brian has called the Pacific Northwest home since 2017. With over 5 years of experience in the green industry and a degree from Kent State University, he combines professional expertise with a genuine passion for tree care and customer service.

“I couldn’t imagine living anywhere else,” Brian says. “The trees here, the towering Douglas firs, the majestic cedars, they’re incredible. I became an arborist to deepen my understanding of our most valuable resource and to build a career protecting and preserving them.”

What started as a personal mission has grown into a trusted local tree service, but our core values haven’t changed.

We’re not a faceless corporation or a crew that rushes through jobs. We’re your neighbors who genuinely care about the health of your trees and the safety of your property.
